Quicklime
Produced by calcining limestone at approximately 900–1,000°C. The process removes carbon dioxide from limestone, resulting in calcium oxide (CaO), a highly reactive material. Sanvira has developed integrated mineral processing capabilities for metallurgical-grade quicklime.
Steelmaking flux; water treatment (pH control); flue gas desulphurization (FGD); soil stabilization for infrastructure and construction.
